Good news for young people looking for a job. The Indian Institute of Agricultural Research (IARI) has recruited a total of 641 technician posts in the regional offices. Their online application process has started. Candidates can apply till 11.55 pm on January 10, 2022. The candidate has to deposit the fee online till the same time period. The examination will be held from January 25 to February 5, 2022.


According to the notification issued by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, the educational qualification for recruitment to the posts of Technician is 10th pass. There will be computer based examination for recruitment to the posts of Technician. In which multiple choice questions will be asked from the candidates. It will get allowance level-3 index-1 (7th CPC) with salary of Rs. 21,700. The age limit for recruitment to these posts should be between 18 years to 30 years by January 10, 2022.


The computer based exam will ask questions from general knowledge, mathematics, science and social sciences. In each of these four subjects 25 questions of 25 marks will be asked. There will be a total of 90 minutes to take the exam. Examination will be conducted in Hindi and English.


How much will the fee be?

Unreserved class, OBC-Non Creamy Layer, EWS will be charged Rs.300 / - and Rs.700 / - examination fee. On the other hand, women, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) will have to pay Rs. 300 as application fee. They will not be charged any examination fee.

While the age limit for graduates below this category is 38 years, it has been increased by one year to 39 years. Women in the reserved category as women get a five-year exemption. After that their age limit is 45 years. He added that the additional one year benefit in the women's reserve category is limited as there is a provision under the recruitment rules that the age limit should not exceed 45 years after granting the exemption.

In the case of non-reserved women candidates, the current age limit of 38 years has been increased by one year for posts with qualifications below graduation, Waghan said.
