What is the plan?

Allowances were given to the unemployed under this scheme. An unemployed person can avail this allowance for 3 months. It can claim 50% of the average salary for 3 months. It can be availed 30 days after becoming unemployed. It is managed by ESIC.


It can only be taken advantage of once

The benefit of Atal Insured Welfare Scheme can be availed only once in the life of the employee. If the Insured has availed the benefit of this scheme once during the service gap, he cannot avail it again. The insured must be unemployed while claiming relief.


Benefit is available on salary up to Rs. 21000

ESI benefits employees working in private companies, factories, and factories. An ESI card is made for it. The employee can avail the benefit of the scheme on the basis of this card or later the document brought from the company. The benefit of ESI is available to the employee whose monthly income is Rs 21,000 or less. However, in case of disability, the income limit is Rs. 25000.


Who can take advantage of it?

If you work in the private sector (organized sector) and your company deducts PF / ESI from your salary every month, you will get the benefit of this scheme. A prescribed 78-day contribution is required to avail the scheme. This means that the contribution must have been made for at least 78 days before the unemployment period. The claim for relief under this scheme will be payable three months after becoming unemployed.


How can this scheme be availed?

Employees related to ESIC can go to any branch of ESIC and apply for it. The application will then be confirmed by ESIC and if it is true the amount will be credited to the account of the employee concerned.


How to register for it?


    To take advantage of this, you can go to the ESIC website and download the Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana form.

    By filling up this form you have to go to the nearest branch of the Employees State Insurance Corporation and submit it.

    Along with this form, a notary's affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 20 has to be given.

    From AB-1 to AB-4 forms will be submitted.

The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has extended the Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana till June 30, 2022 in view of the Koro epidemic. Previously, the benefit of this scheme could be availed till June 30, 2021. But now the scheme can be availed from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. So far more than 50 thousand people have benefited from this scheme.


Dismissal for bad behavior will not benefit

People who have been fired from the company for misconduct will not benefit from the scheme. Apart from that, those who have registered a criminal offense or have taken voluntary retirement (VRS) will also not be able to avail the benefits of the scheme.
