This is important news for you if your account is in State Bank of India, the largest bank in the country. This Saturday is usually the second Saturday so the bank is closed. But with this, customers cannot use the bank's internet service, Yono, Yono Lite, UPI and mobile banking. During these 2 days, the online services of the bank are going to be interrupted for about 300 minutes i.e. 5 hours. This means that customers will not be able to make any transaction during this period.


On the issue, SBI tweeted on its official Twitter account, saying, "We apologize to our esteemed customers for their cooperation. We are working hard to provide better banking services." The tweet then reads, "We are working to make IT service better on 11 December 2021 from 11:30 pm to 4:30 am (300 minutes)."

ATM service will continue

However, Internet service, Yono, Yono Lite, UPI and mobile banking services will not be available during this period. But SBI's ATMs will continue. Customers will be able to withdraw money or take advantage of other services.

Online service halted due to maintenance

The SBI tweeted that the reason for the closure of these services was maintenance work. The country's largest bank SBI's internet banking services are used by 19 million people. Also, the number of registered customers on Yono has crossed 3.45 crore, with around 90 lakh people logging in every day.
